My Top 5 Summer Must-haves!

Hey all!

So, spring is almost done and now its time to get ready for summer! Here are just a few of my beauty summer must-haves.

Foundation wise, no one really wants to cake on the makeup especially if its just going to come off anyways from the suns heat. Lots of girls tend to keep it natural with just a little bit of foundation, and maybe some mascara.

I've just recently purchased this foundation and i'm in love! It's very light, cheap, and works like a dream!

Being in the water is just a given for the summer. Hitting up your local lake or beach with your BFF's or just your BF. A big problem for most girls is that they a)Choose not to wear a mascara because they fear it will just come off in the water or b)Wear a normal mascara in the water and then have it running down their face causing dreadful dark eyes.

Well ladies, look no further than here. Maybelline's 'Volum' Express Mascara waterproof' is the best waterproof mascara I can recommend. Not only does it enhance your eyelashes and really define them, but it will also make you a water goddess!

If your one of those girls who has those big, dark lashes and don't need a mascara after coming out from the lake or beach.. I'm so jealous of you!

During the day, its a given to smell nice; especially if your hanging out with that special someone or just going out. A scent you will find me hunting for is the DKNY 'Be Delicious.' This perfume has a heavenly smell that I find is perfect for summer--not to light and not to strong.

A nice lipstick for the upcoming season is a light pink. Bold lipsticks, such as a red, are meant for winter and fall; but Spring and summer are all about the sheer pink. My pick is the 'Rouge Coco Shine in Evasion' by Chanel. Its a hydrating lipstick which is perfect and it's, of course, Chanel!

If your not interested in spending an outrageous amount on a lipstick, then definitely hit your nearest drugstore.

In the summer, alot of people choose very pale and light colours for their nails; but not me! I'm going to spice it up this summer! OPI's 'Leaf him at the altar' is my favourite nail polish at the moment. It's a metallic green with a tint of sparkle.

Since summer is very green, I thought this would be a perfect fit for the warm season!

This is Whitey, he is my 17year old American Eskimo! My parents received him as an anniversary gift the year before I was born and we've had him ever since. I like to think of him as my own, personal dog because we've gone through so much together and he seems to like me more than anyone else in my family :)

Need a cute, new hat for Summer?

Lately, I've been really looking for a new, super cute hat for Summer. I find that when the weathers nice, you can find me outside in my backyard, reading a book a drinking a fruity juice.

My major problem; my head gets too hot and I don't like wearing a 'baseball cap' for non-sports related outings.

My Solution: This Floppy Straw hat where you can get anywhere! It may look a little dramatic, but its the perfect accessory to pair with a cute summer dress, a romper, or just shorts and a tank. It's bold, daring and very feminine.

Spring Shoes

Wedges are absolutely adorable, in my opinion. There cute, sassy, and definitely give you that height advantage if your short like me. In my opinion, these would be a great investment if you don't already own some wedges. They're not only perfect for summer nights, but great for having a Girls Night Out!

These military chic boots have been quite popular this Winter. Their comfortable, cute and parable with almost everything. Since Spring has been known to be quite rainy where I live and not the warmest; these boots are a great addition to have in your collection.

I love this outfit because its not too 'Springy' and it doesn't show a lot of skin. Spring is't normally a humid season so I would definitely be seen in an outfit like this this season.
